A quick guide to decide which of the presentations is the best in each case.

Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, has been touted for years for its many health benefits.

From anxiety and sleep reduction to pain relief, it has become a popular choice for those seeking alternative treatments.

It is possible to find active CBD in three types of presentations: full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolated CBD.

COMPARISON BETWEEN BROAD SPECTRUM AND FULL SPECTRUM

Full spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD contains various components of the cannabis plant, including trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Fully legal conventional products in Ecuador contain less than 0.3% THC. In some countries where marijuana is completely legal, it is also possible to find full-spectrum products with higher levels of THC.

Broad spectrum CBD

This CBD does not contain THC. However, it contains other components of hemp, so it will not be 100% CBD. Think of it as the middle child of three CBD options. CBD isolate. Their pure and isolated CBD products do not contain any other compounds found in cannabis besides CBD.

Differences and uses of broad-spectrum cbd vs. full spectrum

PROS AND CONS OF FULL SPECTRUM CBD

One of the biggest benefits of full spectrum CBD is that you get what is known as an exogenous effect. The theory is that when many of the ingredients in cannabis work together, you get more benefits than taking them alone.

These items include:
  • Phytocannabinoids (such as CBD and THC)
  • Flavonoids
  • Terpenes (compounds that affect the aroma and flavor of hemp)
If you want to maximize the benefits of hemp, full-spectrum CBD might be a good option.

But that doesn't mean all full-spectrum products will get you drunk. Low-potency products in low doses are unlikely to cause euphoria.

Finally, because full-spectrum products contain THC, you're more likely to test positive for marijuana if you take a drug test.

PROS AND CONS OF BROAD SPECTRUM CBD

Uno de los beneficios potenciales del CBD de amplio espectro es que lo más probable es que lo mantenga despierto: sin THC significa que no se siente “colocado”.

However, the downside is that CBD without THC may not be as effective as both. More research is needed, but early studies suggest that they work better together.

This is not to say that broad-spectrum products do not provide any associated benefits. Broad-spectrum CBD still contains other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that may provide benefits beyond CBD.

So between full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD which is the best for me?

Well, the time has come to decide, and basically after this explanation the decision must be made based on:

If you are looking for the health benefits of CBD but want to ignore the effects of THC, a broad spectrum might be the best option for you.

If you don't mind THC and want to get more from your CBD products, Full Spectrum might be a good option.
